A Texas Culinary Inn
Can't stay the night? We offer one table each Saturday night, that will accommodate up to 4 people, to allow a non-overnight guest to enjoy dinner at the Inn. (non guest rate is $69 pp) Includes social hour in library, prior to dinner seating. (comp decanter of wine at dinner). Phone the Inn for a dinner reservation.
The spirit of Elm Creek Manor is found in the embrace of the culinary arts, and the utilization of the bounty of the rich Texas soil and sun. We are all about creativity and respect for whole foods while creating a romantic getaway and specializing in romantic dinners. Plus we offer private romantic candlelight dinners.
Apart from growing our organic herbs, fruits and vegetables, we raise our dairy goats, fish, rabbits, beef, and chickens as well as harvest their daily fresh laid eggs. All of our artisan cheeses are handmade from dairy milked here. We also keep bees for fresh honey and wax for our artisan cheeses. Guests seek our venue for its uniqueness and our ability to bring fresh, peak of perfection bounty to the table. The ultimate farm to table restaurant experience is easily achieved when the table is at the farm.
We love that our guests arrive anticipating all of our whole organic foods, for your getaway in Texas. These include our meats, milk, eggs and cheeses, and fresh farm vegetables. It is a task that most cannot or will not do, but we are built around that challenge. That being said, as a small romantic Inn, we serve our daily menu selections as our guests have chosen ahead of time and at one dinner service, at tables for two. As such, our complete sourcing from our farm limits our ability to adapt to guests with restrictive or special dietary needs, and though we will try to accommodate, please check before making a reservation as to our ability to do so. We can accommodate Flexitarian & Gluten Free. We are not able to prepare Lacto Vegetarian, Vegan or Ovo Vegetarian diets.
We must have dietary restrictions within ten days of arrival. Please email us with your nutritional limits, strong likes and strong dislikes. We are not able to make adjustments if we are not notified well in advance.
We do require all guests making a reservation for a Saturday night to include the dinner with your reservation.
Marcia's 3 Course Casual Dinner in Dining Room (Saturday Only)
Saturday nights, we offer our wonderful seated dinner in beautiful surroundings, at a table for two in the dining room. Seated at 6:30. (includes decanter of comp wine). Select from: Southern Slow Roasted Pinot Noir Savory Brisket, Rosemary-Chardonnay Braised Pork Loin, Homestyle Turkish Meatloaf, Free Range Lemon Herb Rotisserie Chicken, Country Baked Ham. Vegetarian option: Vegetable Frittata. Many guests order the Vegetable Frittata as a main course, who are not vegetarian (ordering a Frittata does not indicate to us that you are a vegetarian). Make sure, that we are aware of your dietary restriction, prior to your arrival.

Master Chef Marcia, has over 43 years of culinary experience. She is a Master Chef, who has been classically trained by Michelin chefs, and in the finest Epicurean Schools in Europe, Asia Minor, Middle East & Africa. Her creations are an incredible melange of rare, infused herbs and spices.
"My wife and I had a great time. We ate so much incredible meals and snacks. We were a bit younger than the typical clientele it seems but I would highly encourage young couples with an appreciation for farm grown and raised chef made gastronomic experiences to go stay a weekend at least."
